How It Works
- Sensing → The printed sensor layer detects spoilage gases (amines, ethylene, H₂S), as well as temperature and humidity.
- Capturing → The RFID chip encodes freshness data with no external power required.
- Communicating → Tags are scanned via RFID readers or NFC smartphones.
- Predicting → Data is uploaded to the ShelfAlert Cloud Dashboard, where AI models forecast remaining shelf life and issue alerts.
